In about three sentences, what is your book about? For example, "An idealistic young attorney thinks he has gotten his dream job, but soon realizes that he's actually working for the Mob. Can he escape before they realize he's now working against them?"
Think of this as back-cover copy. One to three paragraphs, please, that describes the plot or substance of your book.
You're in an editorial meeting. You need to convince your boss that this book will SELL. This is where you tell us what the market is for the book, fans of what best-selling author will love the book, and whether the author has a terrific existing platform.
Tell us about yourself. Previously published? Existing platform? Best friends with Oprah?
Is there something we should know that isn't covered above? This is where you put it.

What to Submit

Please do not upload a query letter. The form above serves that purpose. Please upload the entire manuscript, properly formatted with 1-inch margins and double-spaced. Be sure you've used the spelling- and grammar-checking tools to get it as clean as possible. Also, please include a five-page synopsis of your work that is also double-spaced. This should be a full synopsis that even gives away the ending, so we can properly evaluate the full story. Thank you.
